Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This policy explains what Easyfixo LLC ("Easyfixo", "we") collects when you use easyfixo.app, why we collect it, who sees it and what choices you have. It applies to clients, pros and visitors.

It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. What we collect

Account. Your name, email address and, if you use it to sign in, your phone number. We don't use passwords; you sign in with a one-time code.

Jobs (clients). What you tell us about the job: category, answers to the job questions, description, photos, your preferred times, your budget, and the address where the work happens, including access notes such as a buzzer code.

Profile and verification (pros). Your business name, introduction, photos of past work, services, service area, hours and rates. To verify you we also collect a government photo ID and, where relevant, a license number and proof of insurance.

Bookings and reviews. Offers, prices, schedules, booking status changes, cancellation reasons, problem reports, and the reviews both sides write.

Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive the status and amount of each payment and a reference to it, never your full card number. Pros who receive payouts share their banking and tax details directly with Stripe.

Location. The coordinates of the addresses you enter, which we get by looking the address up with a geocoding service. If you use "Use my location", your browser shares your current position with us once; we don't track you in the background.

Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, errors) kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use it

  • To run the marketplace: match jobs to nearby pros, show offers, create bookings and process payments.
  • To verify pros before they can receive jobs.
  • To send you the messages the service needs: sign-in codes, new offers, booking updates, review reminders.
  • To handle cancellations, problem reports and disputes.
  • To keep the service safe: prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of other people's information.
  • To improve the service, using aggregated information about how it is used.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax reporting for payouts.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not show advertising.

3. Who sees it

Between clients and pros. Pros shortlisted for your job see the job details, photos, your first name and your neighborhood and ZIP code, but not your street address. The pro you book then sees your full address, access notes and the name on your account. Clients see a pro's public profile: business name, photos, rating, reviews, services, years of experience and rates. Clients do not see a pro's documents.

Public pages. A pro's profile is public and may be shown to anyone, including visitors who are not signed in. Reviews are shown with the reviewer's first name and initial.

Service providers. Companies that process information for us under contract: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage and hosting, in the United States), Stripe (payments and payouts), our email and SMS delivery providers (for codes and job notifications), Cloudflare (serving the website) and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service (turning addresses into coordinates; the address text is sent to it, nothing else).

Legal reasons. We share information when the law requires it, to respond to valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety and property of users or the public, or to enforce our terms.

Business transfers. If Easyfixo is sold or merged, your information transfers with the business and stays under this policy until you are told otherwise.

4. Photos and documents

Photos from phones usually carry hidden metadata, including the GPS position where they were taken. We remove that metadata from job photos and portfolio photos when they are uploaded, so a photo of your living room does not reveal your address. We don't modify the picture itself. Please still avoid photographing house numbers, mail or documents.

Verification documents are stored separately from everything else, are never shown to clients or other pros, and are only accessed by the people who review pro applications.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser keeps your sign-in session, your theme choice and, while you are filling in a job, your in-progress answers, in its own local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them. Our hosting providers may set technical cookies needed to serve the site securely.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. Job, booking, payment and review records are kept for as long as needed to run the service, resolve disputes and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements, which is typically up to seven years for payment records.

Verification documents are kept while the pro's account is active and for up to one year after it closes, in case of a dispute about work done through the platform, and are then deleted.

Server logs are kept for a short period, usually no more than 90 days.

7. Your choices and rights

Access and correction. You can see and edit most of your information in your account. For anything else, email us.

Deletion. Delete your account from your account page (or email us). Your name, addresses, photos and contact details are removed right away and the login is closed. Records of completed bookings, payments and reviews are kept, with your name replaced, because they are the other party's history and our tax records. Open bookings have to be completed or cancelled first.

Messages. Job and account messages are part of the service. Reply STOP to texts to opt out of SMS (you may then miss time-sensitive updates). Marketing messages are only sent with your consent and always include an unsubscribe option.

California and other state rights. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law, you may have rights to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email us; we will verify your identity through the email or phone on your account.

8. Security

Access to your information is restricted to what each party needs: clients, pros, our service providers and our team each see only the parts described above, enforced in our database. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you as the law requires.

9. Children and international use

Easyfixo is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

Our providers store information in the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when our practices change. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top is the current version's effective date.
